About me
Ms. Tamhankar has extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After completing her basic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a busy tertiary unit in Mumbai, India, Ms. Tamhankar moved to the UK and was awarded her CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology following completion of specialist training in Sheffield. In addition, she spent two years in a research fellowship studying the changes in emotional health during assisted conception treatment. This led to her being awarded an MD degree by the University of Sheffield. Ms Tamhankar has been working as an NHS Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Jessop Wing, Sheffield since 2014. She sees her private patients at BMI Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield and offers assisted conception procedures on a joint-care basis at Jessop Fertility.
