About me

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with a passion for compassion! Currently I am seeing clients online using video conferencing. I read my first degree at Cambridge University, followed by a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuropsychology in London. Initially trained in CBT, I have since moved over to compassion focused therapy developed by Professor Paul Gilbert. I find it is useful for most clients, with a 90% success rate. With CFT, I can teach you how to balance your mind for the rest of your life.
If you are struggling to flourish in your life, then I can help you. My clients are of all ages and have a wide range of challenges, from low confidence and burnout to depression, anxiety & trauma. I use therapeutic techniques from many years of experience, mindfulness meditation practice and coaching techniques like motivational interviewing.
Please get in touch for an initial consultation - you have nothing to lose and so much to gain - client quote: "I feel open to everything with the knowledge that it’s ok… I’m ok… the world is ok… I’m not stuck in a never-ending loop of negative emotions, regularly feeling close to rock bottom. I feel empowered. Thank you Kate for everything."
