About me
I am a Consultant Subspecialist Urogynaecologist and Pelvic Floor Reconstructive Robotic Surgeon, with advanced expertise in female pelvic floor health. Following my training in general gynaecology, I undertook an additional three years of subspecialty training in Urogynaecology, developing focused skills in the assessment and surgical management of complex pelvic floor conditions.
I provide specialist care for women with pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. These conditions often coexist and require a thorough, individualised approach to ensure the most effective and holistic treatment plan.
I offer the full range of management options for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, including non-mesh surgical solutions tailored to each patient's needs. For prolapse, I perform all vaginal procedures, such as vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair, sacrospinous fixation, and uterine-preserving surgeries like sacrospinous hysteropexy or robotic/laparoscopic hysteropexy using either mesh or native tissue grafts, including autologous fascia lata. I manage both primary and recurrent prolapse and offer robotic colpopexy for suitable cases.
For urinary incontinence, I provide a full spectrum of surgical treatments, including robotic colposuspension, autologous fascial sling procedures, and urethral bulking treatments, ensuring that each woman receives the most appropriate and effective therapy for her condition.
