About me

I'm Adele and I've been a qualified counsellor since 2004. I am the founder of Thriving Young Minds, a Counselling and Play Therapy service for children and young people aged 4-25. I also work with adults and have previously worked in workplace mental health settings and a GP surgery.

I have extensive experience in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, loss, self-esteem, dealing with change, stress, confidence, relationship issues, family issues and self-harm. I will work with your therapeutically to address the underlying causes to you can be empowered to manage the impact in your daily life.

With 19 years experience, and being trained in a
variety of counselling approaches, I work according to the individual needs of each person, recognising that their needs are unique.

I am passionate about developing the right approach to working with you - your aims and your way. I use play and creative resources where appropriate.
