About me
I'm Adele and I've been a qualified counsellor since 2004. I am the founder of Thriving Young Minds, a Counselling and mental health support service for children and young people aged 11-25 and their families. We offer parental support and support for siblings of disabled young people.
I also work with adults and have previously worked in workplace mental health services, residential settings and a GP surgery.
I have extensive experience in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, loss, self-esteem, dealing with change, stress, confidence, relationship issues, family issues and self-harm. I specialise in working with neurodivergent people.
I will work with you therapeutically to address the underlying causes of any issues so you can be empowered to manage the impact in your daily life.
With 20+ years experience, and being trained in a variety of counselling approaches, I work according to the individual needs of each person, recognising that their needs are unique.
I am passionate about developing the right approach to working with you - your aims and your way, using creative and visual resources where appropriate.
If you would like a strengths-focused, empowering approach then please get in touch.
