About me

Miss Nayak is an excellent team player liked by her patients, colleagues and staff members. She believes in simplicity, integrity, and getting immense pleasure in making a difference to her patients’ life by with her treatment.

Ms.Nayak, MD, FRCOG is presently working as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Wexham Park Hospital, being part of Frimley Health NHS Trust. She has more than 25 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) experience.

She has been leading the gynaecology cancer service at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley health NHS Trust; chairing the weekly local multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT) from 2016 onwards. She is experienced in managing women with suspected gynecological cancer symptoms, post-menopausal bleeding, complex ovarian cysts and abnormal smears. She is also an accredited colposcopist and a trainer with more than ten years of colposcopy experience. She was the RCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology) College Tutor in her hospital responsible for training junior doctors progressing to become O&G consultants in the UK from 2016 to 2021. She holds ‘Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning for Health Professionals’ (TLHP) has also completed the ‘Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound’ in the UK.

Gynae cancers; Minimal access surgery including laparoscopic-assisted hysterectomy for early endometrial cancer; total laparoscopic hysterectomy; laparoscopic bilateral salphingo-oophorectomy for complex cysts and hysteroscopic surgery for heavy periods (ablation and endometrial resection); fibroids (hysteroscopic resection, open myomectomy and hysterectomy); Endometriosis (medical and surgical management including Helica ablation); Ovarian cysts (laparoscopic cystectomy for benign cysts and endometriomas).
