About me
Mr Brookes-Fazakerley has lived in Merseyside and Cheshire for the last 20 years being originally from the North Wales area. He undertook his Medical and Orthopaedic training in Liverpool before completing internationally recognised shoulder and elbow fellowships at Wrightington Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. There he developed his interests in arthroscopic (keyhole) and shoulder replacement surgery and developed significant experience in performing computer navigated shoulder replacement operations.
Areas of interest
Mr Brookes-Fazakerley is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. His interests are focused on treating patients with rotator cuff tears, impingement syndrome, frozen shoulder, calcific tendonitis, arthritis of the acromioclavicular joint, tennis and golfers elbow and shoulder and elbow dislocation where he can offer a variety of surgical and non-surgical options of treatment.
He is also a recognised expert in treating arthritis of the shoulder and elbow performing joint preservation procedures in early arthritis, through to shoulder and elbow replacement in the more advanced stages of the disease.
