About me
Dr Saad Saheecha is Consultant Cardiologist at Spire Hartswood and Nuffield Health Hospitals in Brentwood. He cares for adult patients with symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness and blackouts and performs investigations including ECGs and ambulatory monitoring.
Dr Saheecha provides pre-operative cardiac assessments for patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery and has practiced at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) since 2021. Appointed a Consultant in 2018, Dr Saheecha is trained in all aspects of adult cardiology, with special interests in heart failure and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
A graduate of Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine (London, 2006), he completed specialist cardiology training from 2012, including advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at Harefield Hospital.
Dr Saheecha is committed to providing holistic, multidisciplinary, and personalised care, maintaining his expertise through regular participation in regional and international cardiology meetings. He is passionate about medical education, serving as an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for junior doctors. He also leads the Havering Heart Failure Multidisciplinary Team and co-chairs the Joint Anaesthetics�Cardiology MDT, assessing cardiac risk in surgical patients.
