About me

As a clinical psychologist I feel privileged to be able to draw on my training, experience and expertise to help people with a wide range of difficulties to live more fulfilled lives. I am interested in how our past experiences and relationships affect us in the present, paying particular attention to the wider social context, inequalities and issues of power and how these operate in all our lives. I pride myself on being an empathic, thoughtful, creative and dedicated clinical psychologist who works hard to support individuals and their families.

I work collaboratively with you to develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are experiencing. The approach I take to my work varies depending on the person, and there is no 'one size fits all' approach. As a clinical psychologist I have training in a range of evidence-based psychological approaches, which I draw on flexibly, integrating approaches to suit the needs of each individual and their situation. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and systemic therapies including Narrative Therapy.
