About me
In these difficult times when we cannot connect in person, looking after our mental health is vital and connecting with people is all the more important. You can still access counselling with me as I offer phone or FaceTime sessions.
I believe once you recognise you need help, counselling is your first brave step to exploring how to resolve the events and circumstances life throws at you.
I can accompany you through life’s difficulties, and together we can help you achieve managing them yourself with more confidence, and making a positive difference to your life.
You can experience 50 minutes a week away from your life, to reflect on your life, in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
I am an experienced qualified Accredited Counsellor, through the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As an Accredited counsellor I have achieved a high standard of knowledge, experience and development that is widely recognised and valued throughout the industry.
I practice a Person-Centred therapeutic approach, with Humanistic influences.
I have specialist knowledge in bereavement, loss and change. I also work with clients helping with the emotional effects of living with dyslexia (and associated diagnosis) in adulthood. Therefore my specialist knowledge is in, but not limited to these areas.
I can help with a large range of common life mental health problems. I have worked with many clients, both long and short term, covering a very broad spectrum of complex issues.
I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework, for good practice in Counselling and psychotherapy.
