About me

I am a Consultant Hip and Knee Surgeon with a specialist interest in total hip and knee replacements. My clinical practice encompasses primary, complex and revision hip replacements, as well as primary knee replacements and knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery).

My private practice is based at The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, Lancashire and Oaklands Hospital in Salford. My NHS practice is located at North Manchester General Hospital and Fairfield General Hospital in Bury.

I graduated with a BSc in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews and earned my medical degree with honors (MBChB) from the University of Manchester. I then pursued my interest in orthopaedics, working with eminent surgeons at various hospitals in Greater Manchester and Lancashire. In 2017, I completed my higher specialist training and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). Following this, I undertook a revision hip arthroplasty fellowship at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where I gained valuable experience and skills in complex lower limb replacement surgery.

I have a keen interest in surgical training and am actively involved in teaching and training orthopaedic trainees.
