About me

I am a Consultant Hip and Knee Surgeon with a specialist interest in total hip and total knee replacements. My clinical practice includes hip replacement (primary, complex and revision), primary knee replacement and knee arthroscopy (keyhole).

My private practice is based at The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, Lancashire. My NHS practice is based at North Manchester General Hospital and Fairfield General Hospital (Bury).

I graduated with BSc in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews and gained my medical degree with honours (MBChB) from the University of Manchester. I then pursued my interest in orthopaedic working with eminent orthopaedic surgeons at various hospitals in Greater Manchester and Lancashire. I completed my higher specialist training in 2017 and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). Following this, I undertook a revision hip arthroplasty fellowship at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and gained valuable experience and skills in complex lower limb replacement surgery.

I have a keen interest in surgical training and I am actively involved in teaching and training of orthopaedic trainees.
