Research interests
Dr Nair is the Diabetes NIHR Research lead for north west coast region and is responsible for supervision and encouragement for Principal Investigators in the region. He is Chief investigator for a large multisite diabetic feet clinical trial and is Principal Investigator for several multinational research studies.
His research interests are Diabetic kidney disease, Diabetic foot disease, Obesity, Novel treatments in Type 1 diabetes, Diagnostic dilemmas in diabetes.
He is many peer reviewed publications in reputed medical journals and has presented numerous scientific abstracts in national and international medical conferences.
