About me

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Psychological Society. I have worked in the NHS for 17 years in substance misuse services and general community mental health settings. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma and addictive & compulsive behaviours. In the last 8 years I have specialised in gambling disorders and have led the CBT pathway in an NHS specialised addictions service. Since 2011 I have been a member of the network of motivational interviewing trainers (MINTEs) and I have been providing Motivational interviewing training and supervision on a regular basis.
I provide evidence-based psychological interventions based on individualised formulation and we will work towards an agreed treatment plan with clear and specific goals. Finding the right therapist is not easy at times and a one off assessment can be arranged to help you decide if you wish to pursue with a course of therapy.
I can provide therapy in English, Spanish and Catalan.
