She has previously worked as an ENT consultant and Clinical Lead in Colchester General Hospital in Essex. She has been an Honorary Lecture in Swansea University in Wales since 2003. She is a Panel Member for the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Otolaryngology (FRCS ORL- HNS) MCQ Writing Group. She is also a MRCS-ENT examiner for the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh, Glasgow, England and Ireland. She has also examined final year medical students from the University of Edinburgh Medical School.
She has been the organiser of an International Paediatric Airway Course of the last 6 years. And she has been faculty in multiple ENT related courses.
