About me
I am a highly experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon with an NHS base at Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital, London, where I also serve as the Patient Safety Lead. My practice focuses on providing world-class care for patients with a wide range of vascular conditions. I specialise in both open and endovascular surgery, including aortic aneurysm repair, the management of peripheral arterial disease, and the treatment of both superficial and deep venous disorders.
With a commitment to achieving some of the best surgical outcomes in the country, I combine cutting-edge surgical techniques with a patient-centered approach. My goal is to ensure that each patient receives care that is tailored to their individual needs, with a focus on safety and excellence in every aspect of their treatment.
My expertise covers a broad spectrum of vascular care. I am skilled in aortic aneurysm repair, offering both open and minimally invasive procedures with a focus on long-term success. I also have extensive experience in managing peripheral arterial disease comprehensively, from lifestyle interventions to complex revascularisation procedures. In addition, I treat superficial venous disease with minimally invasive solutions like endovenous therapy and foam sclerotherapy. I am also experienced in managing patients with complex deep venous conditions related to pelvic venous disease and DVT.
As the Patient Safety Lead at Guy's & St. Thomas', I am deeply committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for all patients. My approach to patient care is rooted in compassion and clear communication, ensuring that patients fully understand their conditions and treatment options. I believe in involving patients in every decision about their care, providing them with the information and support they need to make informed choices.
In addition to my clinical work, I am proud to have made significant contributions to the field of vascular surgery through research and innovation. I have authored over 100 publications and have been recognised as one of the world leading experts in my field. My work has earned numerous awards, and I serve on several national and international panels dedicated to advancing cardiovascular surgery.
Outside of my professional life, I am a father of three children who keep me highly entertained and enjoy tennis and cycling.
If you are looking for a skilled vascular surgeon who prioritises patient safety and outcomes, while providing empathetic and thorough care, I would be pleased to assist you with your medical needs.
