About me
Since graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002, Andrew has gone on to work in various specialist and advanced practice roles in both musculoskeletal (MSK) and Orthopaedic services in both NHS and private sectors. This has provided Andrew with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people ranging from children and young adults, recreational runners to professional athletes including rugby players and footballers.
With over 20 years experience working in MSK and Orthopaedics, Andrew is passionate about helping people return to activity following injury or surgery. MSK and Sports Podiatry provides a crucial role in the rehabilitation of injury and improving lower limb function using a variety of methods such as gait analysis and re-education, condition specific rehabilitation, corticosteroid injection and orthotics.
Andrew is dedicated to continued professional development and evidenced based practice and has gained a number of post graduate qualifications. These including a Professional Doctorate, Masters Degree, Post Graduate Certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound, steroid injection therapy and is also qualified as an independent prescriber. In 2017 Andrew was also admitted as a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is a guest lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University where he teaches final year podiatry students.
Andrew is based at Resolve Medicolegal where he treats all MSK related foot and ankle pathologies
