About me
Laurence Watkins is Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, with sub-specialty interests in hydrocephalus, neurovascular surgery, intracranial pressure, chronic headache and neuro-endoscopy. He is past President of the International Society for Hydrocephalus and CSF Disorders.
Laurence is also training programme director for North London Neurosurgery, so he has a particular interest in training issues, to develop the surgeons and scientists of the future.
For many years, he has also been Regional Specialty Adviser to the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
