About me
Mr Makki's practice covers a full range of arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery, including ASAD, arthroscopic and open shoulder stabilisation, SLAP repair, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic biceps tenodesis, shoulder replacement and fixation of upper limb fractures. He also undertakes a broad range of elbow, wrist and hand procedures. Mr Makki has a special expertise in one of the latest arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder called “the superior capsular reconstruction” whereby a piece of human tissue called Dermal allograft is used to replace the irreparable rotator cuff tendon.

In addition to his surgical qualifications, Mr Makki has a BSc in biology and a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
