About me

I am a Clinical psychologist and accredited CBT and EMDR therapist (registered with HCPS, BABCP and EMDR Europe) with 10 years of post-qualification experience. I have extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a range of mental health difficulties (i.e., trauma/PTSD, depression and anxiety/stress, low self-confidence, OCD, social anxiety, panic, phobias and psychological impact of long-term health problems) with an adult population, having worked extensively in primary care within the NHS.

I work mostly from a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) approach and practise Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), drawing also on Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

With these techniques/models, I aim to equip you to be your own therapist, learning to identify the unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour that lead to emotional distress and stuckness, helping you identify and move in the direction of your values.

I also offer behavioural couple therapy (focusing on issues such as working on communication difficulties, building trust following infidelity, crisis management).

I work both in English and Spanish. At the moment I ONLY WORK ONLINE.
