About me

I am an BACP Accredited Integrative therapist.

I have been qualified since 2011 within this time I have worked at;

* Basildon MIND Charity for my first 3 years placement as a Counsellor with Children and Adolescents - for Anxiety & Depression

* The Priory Hospital Chelmsford CAMHS inpatient/outpatient service since 2010, initially as Teaching Assistant for inpatients (first 7 years and then 3 years as Therapist for CAMHS inpatient ward) Then worked on Adult Eating Disorders ward for 3 months. - Worked with many mental health disorders within this position. Supported therapy groups and facilitated my own.

I am also Sessional Intergrative Therapist for CAMHS and Adults outpatients and have been since 2013.



* I have run my own Private Practice since 2011 - face to face and online - I have worked with many mental health conditions within the umbrella of Anxiety and Depression.

I work from young people aged 12 years and adults.

Areas of interest

I have worked with many clients with Generalised Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety and Depression, Agoraphobia, Obsessional compulsive disorder, Bereavement and loss, Work/School/Uni Stress, ADHD, Autism, Eating disorders and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I have completed further training in these areas;
* Trauma Diploma (2018)

* Practitioners training in supporting Post Natal Mental Health & Early Parenting Relationships (CPNP) in 2020

* Practitioners skills in Eating disorders training in 2023

As part of BACP accreditation I do 30 hours of continuing professional development every year. I have explored many areas of ways to support my clients.
