About me
Consultant in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Transfer Medicine. Principally providing include Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular anaesthesia, site airway lead and link for congenital patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery. I have particular expertise in extracorporeal life support and both transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography. I also regularly provide anaesthesia care for intracranial and spinal neurosurgery, endocrine (including phaeochromocytoma) and breast surgery and have particularly expertise in non-cardiac surgery for patients at high cardiorespiratory risk. I am the cardiac lead for the high-risk anaesthesia MDT at the Royal London Hospital
I am also the clinical lead for the London Adult Critical Care service - we are a specially commissioned regional service moving patients throughout the capital. I have particular interest in facilitating access to cardiac care within the Capital and cardiogenic shock.
