About me
Mr Ali has worked as an Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at the University Hospital North Midlands NHS Trust since 2015.
Mr Ali obtained his primary medical qualification from the University College London Medical School in 2002. He undertook his basic surgical training at The Ipswich Hospital and higher surgical training in Orthopaedic & Trauma surgery on the Oswestry/Stoke Orthopaedic Training programme. He subsequently carried out further specialisation posts at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield and Leeds Teaching Hospitals in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Mr Ali has a keen interest in medical education and surgical training of junior and higher orthopaedics surgical trainees organising the regular registrar teaching programme at Stoke.
He has expertise in all areas of foot and ankle surgery in both the trauma and elective setting particularly relating to complex hindfoot and forefoot deformities, diabetic footwork and post traumatic foot and ankle conditions.
