About me
I am a cardiologist specializing in coronary intervention and cardiac CT. I currently work across 2 sites-Warrington & Halton Hospital and Manchester University Foundation Trust. I see patients with breathlessness, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiac arrhythmia, angina & heart attacks.
As an interventional cardiologist, I am passionate about cardiac risk modification and rehabilitation to prevent and reduce the risk of recurrence of cardiac events. I have recently been awarded the Warrington Guardian Hospital Hero Award for my SmartHeart School campaign, that I launched to educate school children about the heart, how to keep healthy and the dangers of smoking.
I am greatly interested in innovation and am currently the cardiology clinical lead and clinical innovation lead for Warrington & Halton Hospitals.
