About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in heart failure, coronary artery disease, valve disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and cardiac imaging.

I have been working at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust since 2012, where I currently lead the Heart Failure Service, which I created.

I also developed the community cardiology services in Kingston and East Elmbridge to improve access for patients to care closer to home.

I read Medicine at Magdalen College, Oxford, and trained in Newcastle, Leeds, and Cambridge before completing my cardiology training in London. During this time, I had the opportunity to work at leading centres including the Royal Brompton, Harefield, and Whittington Hospitals, and spent time as a British Heart Foundation Research Fellow at St George's, University of London.

Alongside my clinical work, I have taken on a number of leadership roles at Kingston Hospital, including Clinical Director for Cardiology and Clinical Haematology, and Chair of the Medical Staff Committee.

I have also been involved in teaching and training medical students and resident doctors, which is something I really enjoy.

I aim to provide clear, honest, and personalised care to every patient I see. I believe in listening carefully, explaining things in a straightforward way, and working together to find the best path forward.
