About me
My career as a General and Interventional Cardiologist started after I qualified from the University of Bristol Medical School with a 1st Class Honours in Anatomical Science, and then trained in Cardiology mostly in the Wessex region (Southampton). I also received a PhD in Metabolic Medicine from the University of Southampton investigating the effects of omega-3 supplementation in reducing fatty liver disease and its association with cardiovascular risk biomarkers. This has led to numerous peer-reviewed publications including in the prestigious European Heart Journal. I am currently practising as a Consultant in General and Interventional Cardiology at Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust, and also perform Cardiac CT.
