About me
Mr Chidi Ekwobi is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with an NHS practice at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000. He completed his higher plastic surgery training in Manchester and Preston.
After completing his higher training he completed prestigious fellowships at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in microsurgery with a focus on breast reconstruction and head & neck reconstruction.
He worked as a consultant at The Royal Marsden Hospital prior to joining The Royal Preston Hospital in 2016.
Mr Ekwobi is currently the Clinical Lead for Burns and Trauma. He has a strong interest in the education of trainee surgeons and had been awarded the School of Surgery Excellence in Education Award in 2017 and 2019.
Patient satisfaction is at the heart of his practice: He has been the recipient of the Certificate of Excellence in 2018 and 2019 awarded by iWantGreatCare, the world’s largest independent patient experience website.
