About me

Dr. Se�n Harmon - Active Voice Psychology is a chartered consultant psychologist with considerable experience working in primary care, secondary care, and specialist psychological services across various health and social care trusts.

Having obtained an MSc in Psychology (BPS Conversion), Dr. Harmon went on to complete a further MSc in Applied Psychology (Mental Health & Psychological Therapies). This programme included training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and AFT Foundation Level in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.

Whilst completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, Dr. Harmon was trained in humanistic and experiential psychotherapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.

Since then, Dr. Harmon has completed advanced trainings in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) for individuals and groups, DBT, Schema Therapy (ISST Advanced Schema Therapist), and EMDR (Accredited EMDR Practitioner and Consultant In-training) .

Dr. Harmon is experienced in the diagnosis of intellectual disability, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Perinatal difficulties and mental health difficulties, and parenting assessments.
