About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I have extensive experience working in psychological teams in the NHS and charitable organisations since 2004.
I work using an integrative approach, where I use a combination of therapeutic models to tailor therapy for the individual. The predominant approaches I use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
I offer both short-term work, where we agree on a fixed number of sessions to work towards, or open-ended therapy, where we review how therapy is going intermittently.

Areas of interest

My specialism is working with adults with a range of difficulties. Some of these commonly include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, obsessive compulsive disorder, low self-esteem, childhood and adulthood abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violent experiences, eating disorders, difficulties regulating emotions, and work-related difficulties. I am also experienced with working with veterans.
