About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in Guildford, Surrey and see clients from surrounding towns and areas. I work with clients of 17 years and older. Qualifying in 1992 I have extensive experience with general psychological issues & specialist experience working in sexual & physical health services. I am passionate about helping people to make sense of their difficulties so they can work towards valued and meaningful changes. I will listen with empathy & without judgement to help you identify a way forward. My role starts with ensuring our initial session enables you to feel safe and understood. I have particular interest in trauma.
I can draw on a range of therapeutic models, which include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) and Mindfulness based therapies. This enables me to be flexible and tailor my approach to the needs of you an an individual.

I work with young people (17+) and adults. I help people with:
Anxiety disorders (e.g. general or health anxiety), stress, worry; PTSD and trauma; Mood difficulties (e.g. low mood, depression); Sexuality (e.g. difficulties with arousal, sexual satisfaction, sexual pain conditions); Social anxiety, low self-esteem; Phobias, OCD, intrusive thinking.
