About me

I am a highly skilled Psychotherapist accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and certified with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). I have over 20 years of experience in both Private and NHS setting and I am a highly confident and adaptive practitioner, delivering cutting edge therapies with kindness and compassion. I have a proven track record of enabling clients to reach their individual goals and ultimately live a more fulfilling life.
I have a long-standing training history in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at University of Southampton and have augmented this in the last 6 years with specialist training in longer-term relational therapy (Schema Therapy). I integrate these therapies in private practice to provide a comprehensive psychological treatment for people experiencing chronic health conditions and associated low mood, anxiety, work stressors, burn-out, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties, enabling greater understanding and improved coping skills. I also deliver neuro affirmative treatment with an increasing number of clients identifying with ADHD or high functioning autism. Due to my Schema training I also work very well with people who have impulsivity traits they wish to understand better.
My work is rooted in helping individuals draw on their strengths and resources to not only cope but thrive. Most of us have felt stuck when facing a practical or emotional problem and I have specialist training and experience in helping people solve such problems, so they are able to feel more positive. As a reflective and empowering practitioner, I am sensitive to the challenges and stresses life can bring and will provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to facilitate your own personal growth and healing.
