About me

I started performing laparoscopic surgery in 1999. I am now a consultant surgeon at King's College hospital with interest in upper gastro intestinal surgery, gallbladder, hernia surgery, metabolic (anti diabetic) and bariatric surgery including emergency for bariatric problems.

I am a honorary senior clinical lecturer at King's College London actively teaching medical students.

I performs a high number of metabolic and bariatric procedures and my outcome data is in the national bariatric registry (NBSR).

I am also part of the emergency abdominal surgery and trauma team at King's college hospital and am very experienced in dealing with abdominal emergencies including emergency bariatric problems.
