Mr Sasindran Ramar is a leading robotic surgeon with over 30 years of surgical experience and a proven track record in robotic upper gastrointestinal (GI), metabolic, and bariatric surgery.

Based at King's College Hospital, he is nationally recognised for his expertise in advanced robotic bariatric procedures, including robotic gastric bypass (including mini gastric bypass), robotic sleeve gastrectomy, robotic revision bariatric surgery, and robotic gastric band surgery.

Mr Ramar also performs a wide range of advanced robotic general surgical procedures, including:

Robotic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)

Robotic hernia repair

Robotic abdominal wall reconstruction

Robotic anti-reflux surgery

With more than 450 robotic procedures performed and an average of 20 robotic surgeries per month, Mr Ramar is recognised for his excellent safety record and consistently strong surgical outcomes.
