Director and Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist
Louise is passionate about enabling individuals to help remove the stigma of having a cognitive difference by sharing the amazing strengths that neurominorities bring. As a co-director at Neurodiversity Unravelled Louise has strong communication skills, she is creative when it comes to problem solving and can think differently, all of which are unique assets to the wider team.
Louise is passionate about supporting neurodiversity in the schools and higher education sector and the workplace. She uses a strengths-based approach in all her coaching to help clients identify their and achieve their full potential. She recognises the barriers that people with disabilities face and has a working knowledge of how to support individuals, families and businesses to overcome them.
Louise is described by the team as positive, creative and caring. She is able to put people at ease and make an effort to understand their individual experiences. She is recognised by colleagues as having the skills to work with and engage with her clients by taking a strengths based approach.
Louise has a Postgraduate Diploma and a Masters of Science Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, from City University London. Since qualifying, she has worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist across London within the NHS. For the last 20 years Louise has specialised in working with autistic people and people with complex needs, including young people, families, and adults. Louise is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
