About me

I am a consultant in Child health and allergy at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital. I have been working with children since qualified as doctor in 2001. I had basic specialist training in London/KSS deanery, followed by higher specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital, King’s College Hospital and other teaching hospitals in South east England.

My special interests are Paediatric allergies and running immunotherapy service at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. I also completed postgraduate degree in Allergy at University of Southampton.
I am passionate about paediatrics and have extensive paediatric experience in managing wide variety of paediatric problems from 0-16years of age.

I provide consultation on acute and chronic problems in children, including food allergies, hay fever, eczema, abdominal pain, constipation, chronic diarrhoea, bed wetting, headache, seizures, dizziness, syncope, palpitation, chest pain, chronic cough, wheeze, asthma, joint pains, nutritional disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome and weight gain issues. I also offer childhood vaccines, oral immunotherapy for hay fever and house dust mite.

I have close networking with London and Surrey Allergy networks. I regularly give lectures to GP’s, nurses and teaches medical students from King’s College London and St George’s University London. I have aslo participated in many clinical trials.

I closely work with dietitians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Gastrointestinal issues- Vomiting, Reflux, Constipation, Recurrent abdominal pain

Allergy- Food allergy and intolerances, Hay fever, Allergic asthma and drug allergies

Dermatology- Eczema, skin rashes, urticaria

Neurological problems- Headache, Tics, Fits, Faints and Funny turns, Epilepsy, backpain and developmental disorders

Bladder problems- Bedwetting, Urgency and day time wetting and accidents

Kidney problems- Recurrent urinary tract infections, Congenital kidney problems and blood in the urine

Muscle and Joint problems- Chronic muscle and joint pains, auto immune problems like rheumatoid arthritis, Hypermobility, Limping and Growing pains

Endocrine problems- Thyroid, Growth and puberty issues.
