About me

I am a client-centred professional, with eleven years experience, who uses a strengths-based, trauma and systems-informed pluralistic approach, influenced by Polyvagal Theory and psychoeducation. My priority is to create safe, trusting relationships grounded in respect and empathy to create the best environment to help individuals be open about their difficulties and help guide them to long lasting change and empowerment.

My Guiding Principles
My practice is shaped by connection, collaboration, co-regulation, choice and consistency. I believe that no person in need should ever be turned away from the help they deserve.

A Bespoke Approach
I recognise each person's unique experiences and needs and tailor my support to the individual. My accreditation in counselling neurodivergent and visually impaired people further strengthens this personalised approach.
I specialise in supporting children and young people (CYP), nurturing needs and guiding growth. My distinctive practice model for CYP utilises a wraparound approach, working closely with them, their family and school to help them overcome difficulties and guide them to have a growth mindset where they recognise their own potential and strengths.
I support children and young people (CYP) through School Counselling Services. This experience strengthens my private practice and informs my response to the varied pressures CYP face.
My in-depth knowledge of the school system adds a valuable dimension to my counselling practice. I can liaise directly with schools to recommend flexible accommodations that help clients manage their difficulties, while also advising parents on school procedures and how best to support their child.
I have a dedicated focus in supporting CYP with autism spectrum disorder, special educational needs, emotionally based school avoidance and behavioural needs.
