About me

I'm a psychologist with over 20 years' experience working in the NHS, supporting working-age adults with difficulties such as anxiety, stress, panic, social anxiety, phobias, obsessivecompulsive behaviours (OCD) and the impact of traumatic experiences.

Alongside this, I have extensive experience helping people adjust to long-term physical health conditions and supporting recovery after illness, injury, surgery or hospital admission, and have particular expertise working with Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS), and people living with persistent pain, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).

I have led several NHS health psychology services and currently work within a bariatric service, providing pre-operative psychological assessments and post-operative support.

I offer remote sessions, which many people find convenient and comfortable, allowing therapy to fit more easily around work, health needs and other commitments. Remote therapy also means greater flexibility with appointment times, with outcomes and satisfaction equal to face-to-face therapy.

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), motivational interviewing and narrative therapy. I aim to create a supportive and collaborative space where we can work together at a pace that feels right for you, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and goals.
