About me
Evelyn is a warm, compassionate, and highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who works collaboratively and creatively with clients to support meaningful and lasting change. She tailors therapy to each individual's unique needs, drawing on their strengths, values, and resilience to help them move forward even when change feels difficult or impossible and to sustain progress beyond the end of therapy.
Evelyn brings over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals experiencing a wide range of physical, psychological, and personality-related difficulties across diverse settings, including inpatient services, secondary mental health care, and IAPT services. She is currently a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist within the NHS, working in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust with adults presenting with complex and often enduring mental health difficulties.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in High-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (BABCP-accredited) and a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (MSc ACP), reflecting her advanced clinical expertise, leadership capability, and commitment to evidence-based practice. Alongside her clinical work, Evelyn provides training, clinical supervision, and professional support to NHS staff teams working in high-pressure environments.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, compassionate, and firmly grounded in evidence-based practice, enabling clients to feel understood, empowered, and actively involved in their recovery.
