About me

I am an HCPC and BPS registered Clinical Psychologist. I have over 15 years experience working in both mental health and sexual health settings. I work with both adults and young people and have a special interest in anxiety disorders, in particular Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic models and approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT).

My therapeutic approach is integrative, so I use a variety of models to inform my practice. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the corner-stone of effective therapy; this means I work in a collaborative, warm and non-judgmental way with all my clients. Therapy also needs to be challenging and self-reflection can feel uncomfortable. I offer a compassionate space where this can be experienced safely and with kindness.
