About me

Therapy can provide you with a safe and confidential space to explore your experiences, patterns of behaviour and relationships with others. This work can enable you to gain insights into who you are, become more self-aware and to make positive changes in your life.

As a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I use an integrative approach - my way of working is grounded in the person-centred approach, meaning that I value you as a unique individual and offer a non-judgemental, empathic environment to explore what is on your mind and how you are feeling. I also draw upon a variety of different therapeutic and theoretical approaches, including: Psychoanalysis, Phenomenology and Existential philosophy; in order to offer you the best intervention in any given moment.

I understand it can feel very difficult to make the first step - during our initial consultation we will discuss how we can work together in the sessions and we will periodically review progress as we continue.
