About me
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I consider it of utmost importance that we build a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship within which you can feel safe and trusting enough to discuss and explore whatever is going on for you. I am here to listen and will not judge what you have to say. I'm here to help you make sense of the things that you feel and to empower you to make your own choices about how you move forward in your life.
Areas of interest
I am an integratively trained counsellor/psychotherapist and use mindfullness within my practice. If appropriate, I will also work with body awareness to help raise self-awareness and, therefore, create more choice in responses.
I work with young people (from the age of 11 yrs) and adults.
Issues worked with include, but not exclusive to emotional abuse; sexual abuse, domestic violence; trauma; anxiety; panic attacks; stress-related problems; bereavement and loss; relationship issues, transitional problems; self-esteem and confidence issues.
