About me
Having graduated from the University of Birmingham, Dr Landy completed his specialist training in North West London.
He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy PhD from Imperial College London in 2015 following his research into the interactions between the immune system and the gut microbiota causing inflammatory bowel diseases, specifically looking at pouchitis. He led the first UK pilot study of faecal transplantation for inflammatory bowel diseases and published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals as well as presenting research and clinical work at national and international conferences.
Dr Landy's practice involves the diagnosis and management of all aspects of Gastroenterology and liver disease including diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. He is an accredited national bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and has a special interest in therapeutic colonoscopy and endoscopy training as well as inflammatory bowel diseases, Clostridium difficile infection and faecal transplantation. He continues his clinical research focusing on endoscopy, colon cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases.
