About me
Mr Hamza has completed his training in General Surgery in the North East of England and was appointed to the post of Consultant Surgeon at the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) for research from the University of Manchester.
He specialises in Benign Upper GI, Bariatric, and Laparoscopic Surgery. The commonest procedures he performs are keyhole surgery to remove the gallbladder, hernia surgery, and weight loss surgery.
He has a special interest in oesophageal physiology studies and is responsible for the analysis and reporting at the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
