About me
Rebecca has over 13 years’ qualified experience working with individuals with diverse physical, mental health and personality difficulties in a variety of clinical and research contexts. Within the NHS, she previously worked as the Lead Clinical Psychologist and ran the therapy service at a high secure female prison within the Offender Care CNWL NHS Foundation Trust. She also provides training and supports NHS staff teams working in highly pressured environments and supervises psychologists. Currently she is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working in the addictions service for CNWL NHS Trust.
Rebecca specialises in the provision of evidence-based psychological therapies for individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties such as relationship and personality problems; low-self-esteem; depression; anxiety; emotional regulation problems; trauma; and psychotic experiences. She specialises in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and related approaches; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches, as well as drawing from Psychodynamic, Systemic and Narrative therapy techniques. She is also trained in Eye Movement and De-sensitisation Reprocessing.
She has published extensively and presented at national and international conferences on the topics of working with Personality Disorders, managing self-harm and suicide and eating disorders.
