About me
I qualified in Integrative psychotherapeutic counselling, with Transactional Analysis as my core model, in 2010. My initial specialism was in childhood trauma and development; this complements my current adult-only practice, by enabling in-depth assessments of my clients' needs.
My second specialism of attachment and adoptions therapy, in 2013, has given me the privilege of working with adults affected by adoption (as an adoptee, adoptive parent, or other adoptive or biological family member).
Trauma is wide-ranging in its origin and its impacts on the human mind and body. I work with clients to recognise and manage these, as well as explore the ways forward to a more peaceful and healthy way of being and living.
My days of work are as follows:
Mondays - Thursdays: remote audio/video work;
Fridays: in-person practice in Sheffield.
I am a senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy; am General Data Protection Regulation compliant; am Disclosure and Barring Service checked; and am fully insured.
