About me
Mr Nizar Asadi studied medicine at the University of Bologna in Italy, graduating in 2006. He then completed his training in thoracic surgery throughout Italy and the UK.
Mr Asadi previously held a position at Great Ormond Street Hospital and in 2017, he was appointed as a consultant thoracic surgeon at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals. He is involved in multiple research projects as well as digitalization of the healthcare.
Mr Asadi is an active member of national and international cardiothoracic societies and is currently leading the digital thoracic transformation group in the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS); in 2020 he was appointed as GIRFT (Getting It Right First Time) London thoracic lead.
