About me

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2006, and I am a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). I work with adults, as well as children, young people and their families, presenting with a range of psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and experience of trauma.

I have an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of psychological models and theories including cognitive-behavioural therapy, behavioural therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. I use a person-centred approach, focusing on the needs of individual clients.

I have extensive experience in the assessment of Intellectual Disability and Neurodevelopmental Conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I have worked with both adults and children with neurodiversity to help manage their psychological well-being.

Having over 15 years' experience working in the NHS, I have experience of providing supervision to qualified therapists, consultation to other professionals, and supervision groups to staff teams.
