About me

I am a consultant Medical Oncologist with interests in the specialist non-surgical management of Colon, Rectal, Oesophagus, Stomach, Testicular tumours and General oncology. I offer treatment with Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and Biological targeted systemic therapy. I am a strong believer in patient centred care. I recommend treatment in the light of most up to date published clinical evidence. I am actively involved in recruitment and management of patients enrolled in clinical trials.

I also teach and deliver training to junior doctors and future oncology specialists. I am an examiner for the Leicester Medical School. I have published in peer-reviewed journals.

I completed training in general internal medicine and worked as a Consultant Physician for a couple of years before undertaking a further seven years of training in oncology in the University Hospitals of Oxford, Nottingham and Leicester. During this time I completed an MSc Oncology from University of Nottingham. I am a fellow of Royal College of Physicians, UK and member of Association of Cancer Physicians, UK. I am on the GMC Specialist register.
