This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Edmeades is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in cataract surgery, inflammatory diseases of the eye (uveitis) and treatments of the retina.
Mr Edmeades completed his training at Imperial College and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
After qualification as a doctor in 2004 he completed additional research to be awarded a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. Mr. Edmeades then completed seven years of Ophthalmic surgical training in South West England followed by a specialist fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital specializing in retinal disease, uveitis and genetic eye conditions.
Mr Edmeades offers care and management for a variety of general eye diseases. He can provide additional sub-speciality expertise in age related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal vein occlusion, diabetic eye disease, central serous chorioretinopathy and uveitis. This includes the provision of intra-vitreal therapy, laser procedures and micro-incisional ocular surgery.
Mr Edmeades enjoys travel and has worked in Panama, Nepal and New Zealand.
Areas of interest
Cataract, micro-incision sutureless cataract surgery, phacoemulsification of lens, surgical and medical retina, age related macular degeneration, intravitreal injections / implants, diabetic retinopathy, refractive lens exchange, blepharitis, dry eye, general eye conditions(medical and surgical), cysts and lumps, and anterior eye conditions.
