About me

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I have extensive experience delivering face to face counselling/psychotherapy to adults.

I believe that therapy is about providing a safe space for an individual to talk about the pain, confusion or angst he or she is experiencing. Psychotherapy can be used to find reasons why someone may be feeling burdened in some way but also find better ways to cope or reduce distress.

I have a wealth of experience dealing with issues such as depression, suicidal ideation, stress and anxiety, and difficulty within relationships. I have specialist understanding of issues around addiction/dependence, and dealing with the aftermath of traumatic bereavement such as suicide.
