About me
Mr Alistair Slesser is a highly experienced Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon based in London. A pioneer in minimally invasive techniques, he is a leading robotic surgeon trained on the state-of-the-art Intuitive DaVinci Xi and DaVinci 5 (DV5) platforms. He provides expert care for complex bowel and abdominal conditions, specializing in advanced robotic cancer treatments, abdominal wall reconstruction, and cutting-edge groin hernia repairs.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Slesser holds prominent leadership, research, and academic roles:
Clinical Leadership: He is the Clinical Specialty Lead for Cancer Services at his NHS Trust, and formerly the Co-Lead of the Division of Surgery and Urology.
Multidisciplinary Excellence: He chairs the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is a core member of the Colorectal Cancer MDT.
Academic & Teaching: Dedicated to surgical innovation and education, Mr Slesser is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and the undergraduate medical school firm lead at his NHS base.
