About me

I am a fully accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with more than 12 years experience working both in the NHS and in private practice.

Based in Acton, West London, I offer one-to-one counselling/psychotherapy on either a short or long term basis to those experiencing a wide range of symptoms and difficulties.

As a fully accredited member of BACP, (this means I have a substantial level of BACP-approved training and experience), I abide by their professional code of ethics and practice, and hold full indemnity insurance. I am also a registered member of the Association of Analytical Psychotherapists (APP) and a registered practitioner for the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM).

How does counselling/psychotherapy work?

I provide a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental place for you to explore and work through problems and difficulties in order to foster a greater sense of wellbeing.

We would start with an introductory session which offers you the chance to see if therapy might work for you, and which involves no commitment beyond this first meeting. During this session we would explore what you wish to get out of counselling/psychotherapy and how we could do this together. Therapy may involve developing new ways of understanding and coping with difficulties, relating present difficulties to past experience, and making changes in your life.
